The QUICKLINK iDirect solution is based on a compact terminal which includes all the necessary hardware and software for creating and managing connectivity. The technology we use offers broadband via satellite starting from "155Mbps downstream" and "11 Mbps upstream". By means of a simple telephone call you can activate new network points, increase the bandwidth available and change the configuration you are using. Our infrastructures and our management and control centre are connected directly to the Internet Backbone, and thanks to this there are no additional costs for ISPs, multiple steps or problems caused by public network congestion.

IDirect’s 3000 series Remote Satellite Router is a "single box" solution that includes a satellite modem, IP router, TCP acceleration over satellite, and QoS/prioritization in an easy to deploy, reliable design. The iDirect 5100 supports SCPC connections as well.

Broadband Access - iDirect supports the highest TCP/IP throughputs for shared TDMA based service in the industry, with support for speeds up to "155Mbps downstream" and "11 Mbps upstream".

Application Support - Subscribe to the appropriate data rates and deploy any HTTP application, and simultaneously support data, voice and video to multiple locations while guaranteeing the delivery quality. Remote locations can have the same capabilities as offices on landline broadband networks.

Centralized NMS System - All remote units are managed from our hub. The iDirect Network Management System (NMS) allows us to perform all essential monitor and control operations from our Network Operations Center (NOC).

Increased Bandwidth Efficiency - iDirect's Deterministic TDMA network architecture (D-TDMA) algorithm allocates bandwidth among multiple remote sites, based on criteria such as the queued depth at each remote site, the CIR (Committed Information Rate) configuration, Quality of Service (QOS) and prioritization requirements so that you can support more applications and carries more traffic over your available bandwidth.

Support Real Time Applications - With iDirect, we deploy applications like voice and video with the most flexible and granular Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities in the industry. We will automatically identify, classify and prioritize data traffic across the network to provide flexible service and application options to customers.

Security - Remote locations no longer need to sacrifice functionality for security. The iDirect solution enables the deployment of government or corporate approved VPN solutions over satellite networks without loss of either TCP performance or support for real-time applications such as VoIP and streaming video.

DVB-S2/ACM
iDirect’s DVB-S2 with ACM is a more bandwidth efficient technology for networks with larger outbound capacity requirements (up to 155Mbps). iDirect’s DVB-S2 was designed and developed around IP . It uses extremely efficient encapsulation techniques and the industry’s leading Forward Error Coding (FEC) technology, Low-Density Parity-Check Codes (LDPC).

Customers can leverage this outbound technology to build next-generation satellite networks that significantly improve bandwidth efficiency and offers lower operating costs. The DVB-S2 standard incorporates new modulation and FEC schemes, supporting QPSK, 8PSK and 16APSK modulations on the DVB-S2 downstream and enabling Adaptive Coding Modulation (ACM) to optimize operating parameters. ACM enables each remote to achieve the maximum data throughput by utilizing the most efficient coding and modulation scheme at any moment in time, depending on location within the satellite contour, antenna size and atmospheric conditions. iDirect’s ACM automatically optimizes the link performance, balancing efficiency and availability as link conditions change due to adverse weather conditions. This can result in increased availability and cost savings for the customer.
